Navy opens new notice with 1.680 vacancies for Marines

The Brazilian Navy launched a new notice for Marines, offering 1.680 places for the training course in 2025. Candidates aged 18 to 22, with completed secondary education, can apply. The initial remuneration is R$1.303,90 during the course, increasing to R$2.294,50 after training.

The Brazilian Navy announced, through the Marine Personnel Command (CPesFN), the publication of a new notice of competition, offering a total of 1.680 places for admission to the Marine Soldiers training course, intended for Classes I and II of 2025. The official announcement took place in the Official Gazette of the Union on January 04th of this year.

Among the vacancies available, 288 will be reserved exclusively for candidates of African descent, demonstrating the Navy's commitment to diversity.

The opportunities will be distributed at the Almirante Milcíades Portela Alves Instruction Centers (CIAMPA) and Brasília Instruction and Training Centers (CIAB).

At CIAMPA, 1.440 vacancies will be offered, of which 240 will be preferably allocated to female candidates, and 1.200 to male candidates from the South and Southeast regions of Brazil, following the order of classification in the competition.

CIAB will make 240 vacancies available, prioritizing candidates from the Central-West, North and Northeast regions of the country, following the same classification logic.

Who can be a Brazilian Navy Marine?

Candidates who meet the following requirements can participate in the competition:

  • height between 1,54 m and 2,00 m;
  • lack of criminal record;
  • good social conduct;
  • complete high school;
  • marital status: cannot be married or have a stable union;
  • age between 18 and 22 years old by June 30, 2025;
  • no children or dependents.

These conditions must be maintained throughout the period of course, among other criteria.

Benefits for candidates approved in the training course

The candidate approved in all stages of the competition and within the number of places available will be enrolled in the C-FSD-FN course, carried out as a Naval Apprentice.

During the course, the Marine Apprentice will receive a stipend worth R$ 1.303,90, in addition to benefits such as food, uniform and medical, dental, psychological, social and religious assistance.

After training, at the rank of FN Soldier, the total remuneration will be R$ 2.294,50.

How to register for the Navy selection process?

Entries for the competition are now open and will last until 23:59 pm on February 16, 2024, considering the official Brasília/DF time.

The registration fee is R$40,00.

It is possible to request an exemption for candidates registered in the Single Registry for Social Programs (CadÚnico) with a per capita monthly family income equal to or less than half the national minimum wage.

As well as, for bone marrow donors, from January 05th to 19th, 2024.

The competition will consist of eight stages, all of an eliminatory nature, including:

  1. Education Examination;
  2. Verification of Biographical Data;
  3. Health Inspection;
  4. Entrance Physical Fitness Test;
  5. Psychological Assessment;
  6. Document Verification;
  7. Heteroidentification Procedure;
  8. Complementary Events.

The dates, locations and times of the Education Examination will be announced later by the Navy.
