Maringá – PR, August 2022 – Imports of auto parts grew 5% in Brazil, according to data from Sindipeças. The largest importer remains China and, in the first months of 2021, the volume of imports of auto parts from China increased by 20,2%. With the stoppages of Chinese manufacturing, the spare parts segment in Brazil moved around US$ 2,5 billion in the first half of 2021, and Sindipeças estimates that this market will grow by 7% until 2023, with an increase of exports.
