Leading the electricity sector in the national territory, the company Neoenergia now makes strong investments aimed at improving the infrastructure and technology of its energy supply services, to guarantee more quality to customers.

The energy production and transmission company Neoenergia is heavily investing in technology and infrastructure in its resource supply services. This Tuesday (19/07), the company seeks to reduce the the energy during the maintenance of structures and now guarantees more quality in the energy supply to the almost 15 million families served by the company throughout the national territory.

The company's investments in infrastructure and technology guarantee more efficient energy supply services to municipalities throughout Brazil

Technology and infrastructure are the two pillars of the energy segment when it comes to resource supply services and, seeking to maintain its high quality standards, Neoenergia now invests in these segments in its operations. The main objective is to provide a quality service to the nearly 15 million families whose homes are supplied by the company's energy.

Among the main investments, the company stands out in the regions of the Federal District and Pernambuco, since Neoenergia Brasília and Neoenergia Pernambuco, respectively, work with the Big Jumper. This type of equipment guarantees more security in the transmission of energy and reduces by up to 80% the need to switch off the resource during maintenance services performed periodically on the structures.

Thus, energy distributors have been investing in this type of technology to maintain the supply of the resource, mainly in areas most affected by power outages. “This equipment works as a temporary alternative electrical network, which allows customers to be supplied with energy while maintenance and improvement services are carried out on the main electrical network, thus minimizing customer disconnections. Thus, our teams can safely work on improvements and modernization of the electrical infrastructure in the Federal District”, commented the Technical Superintendent Director of Neoenergia Brasília, Antônio Carlos Queiroz.

In addition to this type of infrastructure, Neoenergia Brasília has been standing out in the quality of services with the use of relays, intelligent electronic devices that protect the underground networks in which they are inserted. In this way, the equipment works to isolate a fault and avoid power outages, in addition to adding reliability to the network protectors.

Neoenergia Brasilia and Pernambuco are highlights in investments aimed at the adoption of technology in energy supply services

In addition to the use of even more efficient equipment in the energy supply infrastructure, Neoenergia Brasília and Neoenergia Pernambuco are highlights among the country's distributors in the use of an even more intelligent and automated electrical network, with the adoption of cutting-edge equipment for this .

During the first five months of 2022 alone, the Brasilia company installed 189 reclosers, compared to 379 last year. during the year 223 there were 2021 installations. All reclosers are automated and guarantee more security in energy supply services.

Finally, Neoenergia Brasília also invested heavily in the installation of 55 self-healing schemes between January and May of this year. This equipment allows a quick verification of problems in the transmission of energy and, in an automated way, works to restore the supply of the resource to the residences. Thus, the entire transmission line becomes even more efficient, technological and with much more quality to the final consumer.
