Technological cooperation between large companies WEG SA and Grupo AIZ seeks the development of projects directly related to electric vehicles
10 days ago, WEG SA announced the newest agreement closed by the company with the AIZ Group to seek new solutions that contribute for the free operation of electric vehicles and trucks powered by clean energy. The AIZ Group is famous for having a wide production in several segments of machinery and equipment, that is, from agricultural applications to road parts, among others.
This new agreement is very interesting as it brings together knowledge from companies in different but complementary sectors. In this way, WEG and the AIZ Group will join forces in favor of greater sustainability, focusing on the ecosystem of off-road electric vehicles, used by industry and commerce. The partnership is revolutionary because it paves the way for off road electric mobility in Brazil, a new strand focused on avoiding damage to the environment.
However, the thinking of the companies is based on the supply of the entire production chain, that is, it has a strategic plan focused on the logistics of electric vehicles and trucks.

Sustainability and charging points for electric vehicles and trucks are the focus of actions in the partnership between WEG and the AIZ Group
As we have seen, the process is based on sustainability. Therefore, it seeks to improve the national territory for the proper functioning of electric vehicles and trucks. To this end, companies aim to install new charging stations for these vehicles, as well as sites for capturing, supplying and storing renewable and sustainable energy. However, the main objective of WEG and the AIZ Group is to make customers self-sufficient in obtaining energy for their vehicles.
In this sense, the companies contribute to a new national perspective regarding the use of renewable and clean energy in mobility, seeking less and less use of fossil fuels that harm the environment. In addition, the movement brings greater independence of the national industry in relation to energy matrices, being a great example of sustainability.
Electric vehicles need a suitable environment to work without losing efficiency and several companies come together in favor of this goal
In the first quarter of 2022, the sale of electric vehicles in Brazil increased by 115%, according to Data from the Brazilian Electric Vehicle Association (ABVE), which follows the worldwide trend of searching for this new product. In view of this scenario, nine companies that operate in the national territory also decided to close a partnership to encourage electric mobility in Brazil. They are: 99, Movida, Raízen, Ipiranga, CAOA Chery, Tupinambá Energia and Unidas.
The union of these companies became known as the Alliance for Sustainable Mobility and has very optimistic long-term goals. Firstly, the Alliance aims to install 10 new charging stations for electric vehicles across the country, to contribute to driving. Second, it intends to reach the mark of 10 cars launched on the market, including trucks, by 2025.
Finally, they intend to raise the rate of electric vehicles sold in Brazil to 10%, which currently stands at 2% of all cars sold. In this way, this union will make the technology more accessible and favor the greater circulation of these cars in the country.
Thus, the private initiative, both from WEG and AIZ, and from Aliança, will bring many benefits to Brazil, among which are the strengthening of a renewable energy matrix, reduction in the consumption of fossil fuels, lower production of greenhouse gases greenhouse and increased technology in territorial mobility.
