The Verge TS Ultra is the latest evolution of the Finnish startup's electric motorcycle and promises a range of more than 345 km

The Finnish Verge presented its Verge TS Ultra electric motorcycle as the latest evolution of the startup. Deliveries of the TS and TS Pro models haven't started yet, but the company has already revealed what's most technological and powerful in its lineup. With a value equivalent to more than 250 thousand reais, the new motorcycle offers 204 horsepower and promises battery recharge in 25 minutes, in addition to a range greater than 345 km. Keep reading to learn more technical information about TS Ultra.

Advanced technology of the Verge TS Ultra electric motorcycle

Part of the technology that surprised the public in the TS lineup is the fact that the motor is built into the rear wheel. However, the propeller is literally built inside the wheel, and not in a central hub, as is usual in motors or even electric bicycles with this solution.

The electric motor integrated into the rim allows for the separation of a transmission and the maintenance that goes with it, while achieving a very unique look. In September last year, the Finnish manufacturer opened its pre-orders and presented its model from all angles. But since then, some technical changes have been made.

Surprising numbers released by the Finnish automaker

Regarding the surprising numbers released by Verge, the maximum power of the TS Ultra is 150 kW (204 horsepower) and the torque is 122,3 kgfm. According to the manufacturer, the electric motorcycle can do from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2,5 seconds, while the maximum speed is 200 km/h. According to data released by Verge, the estimated time for recharging the motorcycle is 25 minutes, while the range can exceed 375 km. Keeping the same maximum performance on paper with a top speed of 180 km/h and less than 4 seconds to reach 0 to 100 km/h, the engine's maximum power has been inflated to reach 138,7 hp (102 kW instead of 80 kW).
