High gasoline prices do not prevent the Petrobras Repar refinery from selling, in December, 415,9 thousand m³ of fuel
Petrobras informed yesterday (14/01), in a material fact, that the Presidente Getúlio Vargas Refinery (Repar), a state-owned unit located in Araucária (PR), broke the monthly gasoline sales record in December 2021, when 415,9 thousand m³ of the product were sold in the states of Paraná and Santa Catarina. The volume surpassed the previous record by 8,4%, which was 383,7 thousand m³.

Constant increases in gasoline prices did not prevent Repar from delivering a total of 2021 million m³ of gasoline to distributors throughout 3,7.
According to the statement from Petrobras, throughout 2021, Repar delivered a total of 3,7 million m³ of gasoline to distributors.
Another record reached by Petrobras in December of last year was the delivery of products through the Paraná-Santa Catarina Oil Pipeline (Opasc), with 137,8 thousand m³. Until then, the best brand of the pipeline, which serves the Santa Catarina bases of Guaramirim, Itajaí and Biguaçu, was 135,4 thousand m³.

With an installed processing capacity of 33 m³ of oil per day, equivalent to approximately 12% of the national production of derivatives, Repar mainly serves the markets of Paraná, Santa Catarina, southern São Paulo and Mato Grosso do Sul. In addition to gasoline, the refinery's main products are diesel, LPG, fuel oils, aviation kerosene (QAV), asphalt, coke and propylene.
Petrobras reaches a historic record for importing liquefied natural gas (LNG) with the purchase of more than 40 million cubic meters of the input in a single day!
Petrobras reported, on the afternoon of January 12, that in 2021 it reached the historical record for importing liquefied natural gas (LNG), with the purchase of around 23 million cubic meters per day of the input. The daily record occurred on October 01, with the import of more than 40 million cubic meters.
In the same year, liquefied natural gas accounted for around 30% of Petrobras' total natural gas supply portfolio, being essential to meet the demands contracted by its customers. Read the full story here.
