The document was issued by the Municipal Environment Foundation, from the city in the southern region of Santa Catarina last month. The new factory built in the state of Santa Catarina
The venture in Santa Catarina will cover 15 square meters and will be built on a plot of 30 square meters, located between the recently opened Ivane Fretta Moreira highway and the BR 101. Investments will amount to R$ 40 million, with the expectation of generating 120 direct jobs in the first year of operation. There is still no set date for the opening.
Fabio Sebastiani, director of the Business Unit at Intelbras, says that they are investing in the country, contributing to local economic development and also bringing advanced technologies. According to Sebastiani, they will have a new world-class factory, in addition to opportunities to generate direct and indirect jobs.

The new factory, adds Sebastiani, is part of Intelbras' physical and portfolio expansion plan, which already offers integrated solutions for different markets, such as homes, corporate environments, agribusiness, health and banks, in addition to products for smart city projects.
In addition to the Tubarão plant, which will concentrate the production of energy items, the company is expanding its units in Manaus, in Amazonas, Santa Rita, in Minas Gerais and São José, as anticipated by President Altair Silvestri, in a recent interview with colleague Estela Benetti.
