Honda launches new motorcycle in Argentina for less than R$10, a more affordable price than the Pop 110i. Model promises great autonomy and performance, being able to travel 100 km using 2 liters of fuel.

At the beginning of January, the Honda Motorcycles Argentina announced the launch of its new motorcycle ships, a model originating in India and already present in significant markets, including the United States. The highlight of the Honda Navi is its positioning as the most affordable option in the Honda catalog, a trend observed in all countries where it is sold, especially in the USA. This launch represents a strategic step by Honda in offering an efficient and economical motorcycle, aligned with the needs and preferences of consumers in different global markets.

New Honda motorcycle costs less than a pop 110i

Now, Honda has started selling this new Navi in the Argentine market. There, the model is being announced by 1.680.000 pesos, which would be the equivalent of R$9.361 in our currency in direct conversion of the value.

For means of comparison, the Honda Pop 110i in Brazil, the brand's cheapest model here, costs at least R$9.570, a number that does not even take shipping into account. Honda's new motorcycle may even be a little smaller than the Pop 110i, but it already has a CVT automatic transmission.

Honda Navi production in Argentina is carried out on the Campana assembly line, which currently has the capacity to produce 112 thousand units per year. The brand's forecast is that the scooter will sell around 3 units there by the end of this year. However, this does not mean that there is a chance of it reaching the national market.

The first reason is that the Honda Navi still uses a carburetor, so it is unlikely to be able to meet the restrictive pollutant emissions standards that are used in the national market. Another reason is that Honda in Brazil does not have any motorcycles imported from Argentina being offered here.

New Honda motorcycle can do 46,9 km/l

The Honda Navi is powered by a single-cylinder engine with Honda Enhanced Smart Power technology (eSP, also seen on the PCX Nacional) with a capacity of 109,2 cm³ and air-cooled. With eSP, internal engine friction is reduced, which also helps to improve fuel economy. Since Honda's new bike was originally designed as a city bike, riders won't be too surprised to learn that it is capable of doing 46,9 km/l.

The layout is much more similar to what would be found on a scooter, with the propeller set back and close to the rear wheel. Reinforcing this theme, the Navi has a CVT automatic transmission. Unlike most scooters, however, its design does not have a front shield to protect the rider from the elements.

Economical, with the seat 784 mm from the ground and total weight of just 107 kg, the new model is incredibly affordable for new license drivers. It is important to highlight that the model has a 110 cc engine, still carbureted, which produces 8 horsepower.

Honda launches new motorcycle on the market in 2024

Honda's new motorcycle, NX500, is ready to hit the market in 2024, with a bold and innovative design that can surprise and delight motorcycle enthusiasts.

With aggressive lines and a futuristic look, the Honda NX500 positions itself in the market not only as a stylish motorcycle, but as a true design icon in the world of two wheels. The model has a 17,7 liter gasoline tank and delivers 47,5 horsepower at 8.600 RPM.
