The job vacancies will be distributed during the construction works of the solar energy plant, to residents of Ceará or professionals who have easy access to the location where the Sobral Complex will be built.

The construction project for the Complexo Sobral Solar Energy Plant in Ceará, under development this Saturday (21/10), will generate many jobs and boost the clean energy transition in the region. With an investment of R$3 billion and a capacity of 1.084 MWp, the project promises to create around 1.500 jobs during its construction phase, highlighting the state's commitment to attracting investment and promoting sustainable development. Furthermore, the venture reinforces the state's position as a leader in generating renewable energy in Brazil.

Complexo Sobral Plant promises to generate thousands of job vacancies in Ceará

The state of Ceará is about to take a big leap towards clean energy, with the announcement of the construction of the Complexo Sobral Solar Energy Plant.

This project promises to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the local economy, generating a considerable number of jobs during its construction phase.

Ceará is known for its abundance of sun and wind, which makes it an ideal location for generating solar and wind energy.

The Sobral Complex, with an installed capacity of 1.084 MWp and a planned investment of R$3 billion, is one of the five largest photovoltaic projects in Brazil.

This solar energy plant will be a milestone in the transition to clean energy sources in the region, in addition to promoting the creation of jobs in the region.

One of the most relevant news related to the Sobral Complex is the positive impact it will have on job creation in Ceará.

During the construction phase, the solar plant is expected to generate approximately 1.500 direct jobs.

This injection of job vacancies will benefit several locations in the state, providing a solution to the unemployment and promoting economic development.

Governor Elmano de Freitas announced the construction of the solar plant through his social networks after receiving the board of directors from Cúbico Sustainable Investments, the company responsible for making Complexo Sobral a reality.

Cúbico Sustainable Investments is a global leader in renewable energy investments, with regional offices in nine countries, including Brazil.

Now, this project demonstrates Ceará's commitment to attracting investment and creating a favorable environment for sustainable growth with job vacancies in the region.

Solar plant project highlights Ceará in the renewable energy market

Ceará has been at the forefront of clean energy generation in Brazil.

With more than 65,7 thousand connections for its own solar energy generation on rooftops and small plots of land, the region already has 735,1 megawatts (MW) in operation in homes, businesses, industries, rural properties and public buildings.

Since 2012, self-generation of solar energy has attracted an impressive R$3,7 billion in investments, created more than 22 jobs and contributed more than R$1 billion to public coffers.

Furthermore, according to Constantino Frate, coordinator of the Energy Center of the Federation of Industries of the State of Ceará (Fiec), the state has the potential to generate 643 GW of photovoltaic solar energy, 94 GW of onshore wind energy and 117 GW of offshore wind energy. .

The constant, high-speed wind makes Ceará one of the best places for wind energy generation in Brazil.

Therefore, investments in renewable energy are becoming increasingly necessary to take advantage of this potential, boosting job vacancies in the area.

Thus, the Complexo Sobral solar power plant and other clean energy projects in the Ceará represent a milestone in Brazil's transition to more sustainable energy sources.

In addition to reducing the carbon footprint, these projects are generating thousands of jobs and strengthening the local economy.
