Platform that reduces fuel costs allows real-time monitoring, cost and error reduction, and even has a tire control module
Unfortunately, with the skyrocketing fuel prices, filling up has not generated the most pleasant of sensations, and this new reality has been testing Brazilians' pockets. For carriers and other companies from all segments that have fleets for their transport services, the mission is even tougher. It is estimated that, on average, half of the expenses with the fleet are directly related to fuel.

Faced with this scenario of rising prices, it has never been so necessary to seek solutions to minimize expenses and waste. With this focus, companies resort to technology and management systems. One of these tools was created by Gestran, a company from Paraná with more than two decades in the systems development market for the transport and logistics sectors. This is Gestran Frotas, conceived from the needs of fleet owners with the aim of automating and simplifying daily manual processes. Watch the video below and understand how it works!
Platform monitors fuel and tire consumption
“Technology makes it possible to automate and accelerate operational processes, reducing costs and increasing companies' profitability”, emphasizes Paulo Raymundi, CEO of Gestran. He claims that, with the system, it is possible to reduce costs considerably. “With the Fleet Management platform, we managed to deliver, on average, 20 to 25% savings for the entire fleet, as our system has a technology that evaluates and crosses a series of data and offers our customers the best options”, he explains.

The platform monitors the consumption of fuel and tires, indicates whether maintenance is needed and points out expenses. The tool serves carriers and also any business that has a fleet of vehicles, such as retail companies, industry, agribusiness and even public administrations. Also, it allows the search for better prices at pumps in Brazil by region, city, station, flag, helping in the negotiation with fuel stations.
“It is possible to run a simulation on the Gestran website using our impact calculator, which instantly shows the size of the savings that can be achieved”, explains Raymundi, noting that the platform format also allows fuel stock management, real-time monitoring of expenses, integration with an internal pump, reduction of costs and errors with launches and control of discounts on supplies. Fleet Management also has a module for controlling tires, with the same premise of savings for small, medium and large fleets, inputs/services that have also gone through price increases.
The demand for solutions developed by the company has been growing – only on the company's website, contacts with this goal jumped 150% in 2020. The search for the term “fleet management” on Google has also increased by 90% in the last two years. Good management results in efficiency, after all thinking about a fleet means planning and controlling processes based on accurate information. So, no one wastes time, opportunities and money.
