No forgiveness: traffic law comes with prohibition and heavy fines for drivers who do not comply with the rules

Traffic laws impose strict rules on vehicle accessories and modifications, with severe fines for those who do not comply with the rules.

A Traffic laws have just become even stricter, bringing changes that will directly impact drivers who like to customize their vehicles. Using accessories outside the permitted specifications or making unauthorized modifications may result in a fine heavy, in addition to other penalties that include the retention of the vehicle until its regularization. If you're a fan of custom cars, you better watch out.

Second traffic law, several changes that were previously made without much concern are now considered serious infractions. This includes everything from the use of dark films, such as the famous G5, to mechanical modifications, such as lowered suspension. And there's no point in thinking you can get away with it: the fine for these infractions is R$195,23, in addition to adding five points to your CNH (National Driver's License) record.

Traffic law can cause a headache

The lowered suspension, a favorite among drivers who like to give their car a sporty touch, now requires the issuance of the CSV (Vehicle Safety Certificate), a document that is only released after inspection by an accredited technical institution. Without this certificate, the lowered suspension is outside the traffic law and can cause a headache with the fine.

Locked in the black? Can't

Other A point that deserves to be highlighted is the issue of tinted windows. Contran Resolution 989/2022 made it clear that vehicle windows must have a minimum transparency of 70%, including the windshield and front side windows. Glasses that do not comply with this rule, such as popular G5 films, are completely outside the traffic law and can result in a fine and vehicle impoundment. Even the rear windows, which have more flexibility in light transmittance, must comply with the rule if the car does not have external rear-view mirrors on both sides.

Inmetro approval seal

It is worth remembering that each film applied to the windows must bear the Inmetro approval seal and the transparency percentage marking, generally preceded by the letter G. This makes the work of traffic agents easier, as they have light transmittance meters at their disposal to check whether the vehicle is within traffic laws.

Seizure

Fines are not the only problem: depending on the severity of the infraction, the car may be seized until the irregularity is corrected. This means that a simple taste for customization can end up costing you dearly, both in your pocket and in the temporary loss of your vehicle.

We decided to If you are thinking about upgrading your car, whether with a more aggressive look or with that tinted glass that gives a feeling of security, it's better to rethink. With stricter traffic laws, any carelessness can result in a fine and other problems. Respecting the rules is the best way to avoid unpleasant surprises and ensure that your car is always legal.

It's no wonder that everyone already knows it as the fine mafia. The dishonesty and greed with abuse of power that they use to take people's money have as their flagship the abusive traffic laws. In a country with **** in power, it's no wonder that they invent more and more absurd traffic rules to rob us. Soon we'll have to pay a fine of 2.000 for farting in our car. That's how Brazil is today.

For the government, the deal is to take money from car owners if the G5 is prohibited and just prohibit it from the factory if you can't lower it, just close the workshop and the problem is over.

It is to comply with Brazilian traffic LAWS, which will not result in a fine.

There is no fine industry, there are drivers who commit all kinds of infractions and want to get away with it
Just follow the traffic laws and you will never be fined.
