Federal Institute extends registration period for selection process for technical courses in 2024! This is your chance to obtain professional qualification without exams. Understand the changes and secure your place!

Imagine achieving technical training integrated into high school and, as a bonus, professional qualifications without having to face the dreaded selection tests.

This is the new proposal of Federal Institute of Paranรก (IFPR), which brought a turnaround for students interested in their technical courses: the selection process was changed and registrations were extended.

Now, the deadline to secure a spot has been extended until the next day 6 November.

But after all, what will this new selection process without tests be like? What opportunities are offered and how can I apply? Let's get to the details!

Selection process without test and registration extended

The Federal Institute of Paranรก, which serves around 30 thousand students in 28 municipalities in the state, decided to innovate in its 2024 selection process.

Instead of traditional tests, candidates will be evaluated through the analysis of their academic resumes.

This change applies to both technical courses integrated into secondary education and subsequent technical courses.

With this new development, IFPR believes it is closer to democratizing access to technical education, reducing entry barriers and opening doors to a greater diversity of candidates.

The extension of registrations, announced this Wednesday (30), extends the deadline until 6 November. The registration fee for technical courses is R$30.

Technical courses: integration and subsequence

IFPR technical courses are divided into two modalities, each with different characteristics and audiences. Check them out:

Technicians integrated into High School

Aimed at students who have already completed elementary school, these courses integrate high school education with technical training.

Thus, the student completes high school and the technical course at the same time, acquiring academic and professional knowledge in a single trajectory.

Subsequent technicians

Recommended for those who have already completed high school and are looking for mid-level professional training, these courses offer the opportunity for technical specialization in different areas.

In both cases, IFPR promises quality training, which combines theory and practice, always focused on the real demands of the job market.

Undergraduate courses: applications open until January 2025

IFPR also offers opportunities in undergraduate courses, for which applications can be made until January 17, 2025.

The registration fee for these courses is R$50, and candidates who wish to request exemption from payment must make the request by January 15, 2025.

However, for undergraduate courses, payment of the fee is not necessary.

These dates and conditions are important, especially for those seeking higher education without the registration fee.

By offering different course formats and opportunities for fee waivers, IFPR reinforces its commitment to inclusive and accessible education.

IFPR highlighted in Paranรก

With a presence in 28 municipalities in Paranรก, IFPR stands out as the federal institution with the greatest reach in the state, offering quality education in all regions.

This broad reach facilitates access for students of different profiles and locations to high-level technical and higher education, preparing them for the challenges of the job market and contributing to regional development.

In a scenario of high professional competitiveness, institutions such as IFPR have become a reference for their inclusion policies and for investing in courses that meet the real demands of local companies and industries.

Technical courses, in particular, are a valuable path for those who want to enter the job market quickly and with competitive advantages.

Advantages of choosing IFPR

Choosing IFPR can mean more than just completing a technical or higher education degree.

The institution offers an academic environment that values โ€‹โ€‹both the professional and personal development of its students.

Among the main differences, the following stand out:

  • Training integrated with High School, facilitating the insertion of young people into the market with technical qualifications.
  • Quality infrastructure and professionals trained in various areas of knowledge.
  • Presence in municipalities in different regions of Paranรก, expanding access to those who live far from large urban centers.

IFPR is also known for its strong integration with the labor market, offering courses that meet the needs of the local, regional and national economy, facilitating the employability of graduates.

How to apply? Step by step through the Candidate Portal

Registration for IFPR technical courses is carried out exclusively by Candidate Portal, where the candidate must log in with their gov.br Portal account.

Then, you must access the notice corresponding to the desired course and follow the detailed instructions.

With this new selection structure, IFPR hopes to streamline the student intake process and reduce the difficulties faced by many candidates.

It is worth remembering that for the institute's undergraduate courses, the registration period is still open, but with some differences.

Are you ready to join the IFPR Federal Institute and start a promising technical career without having to take exams? Comment and share your expectations!
