The cheapest car in Brazil beats giants like Volkswagen and Toyota. With a competitive price and new features, this offering promises to shake up the market.
In the Brazilian automotive scene, where names like Volkswagen, Toyota, e Honda dominate the popular imagination, a new player is emerging, defying expectations and surprising even the most skeptical.
If you are looking for the cheapest new car in Brazil, it is time to forget the giants and focus on a brand that often goes unnoticed, but which now offers an irresistible proposal.
Citroen is running an unmissable promotion that promises to turn the heads of consumers, especially those who traditionally turn to models like the Fiat mobi and the Renault Kwid.
- New popular car costing R$60 is a success, surpassing Onix, C3, HB20 and others to become the CHEAPEST new car in Brazil
- Will fines be issued? Average speed radars are being installed in different locations in Brazil
- New Law means that obscene gestures in traffic will result in heavy fines and loss of points on your driver's license

According to the French automaker, until September 5th, the Citroen C3 Live Plus 1.0 MT, model year 2024, is being sold for R$69.990., a discount of R$6.900 on the list price, which is R$76.890.
This offer places the C3 as the cheapest vehicle on the Brazilian market, a position that previously belonged to models from the aforementioned brands.
What makes the C3 stand out?
Despite not having the weight of brands like Toyota, Honda, e Volkswagen, the Citroen C3 does not leave anything to be desired in terms of specifications.
The Live Plus 1.0 MT version offers essential items as standard, such as hill start assist, air conditioning, electric steering, tire pressure monitor and electric front windows.
The 15-inch wheels, combined with external details such as unpainted mirrors and door handles, give the model a practical and accessible look.
Under the hood, the 1.0 Firefly 3-cylinder flex-fuel naturally aspirated engine, borrowed from Fiat, delivers 71/75 horsepower and 10/10,7 kgfm of torque, depending on the fuel used.
The 5-speed manual transmission, combined with a consumption of 12,9 km/l in the city and 14,1 km/l on the highway with gasoline, or 9,3 km/l in the city and 10 km/l on the highway with ethanol, guarantees an energy efficiency that should not be underestimated.
Easy financing to close a deal
Citroen is also offering very attractive financing conditions for those who wish to purchase the C3.
According to the conditions offered by Stellantis Financiamentos, the model can be purchased with a down payment of R$34.995, followed by 36 installments of R$1.296, with the first installment due in 30 days.
The interest rate applied is 0,99% per month and 12,55% per year, resulting in a total financed amount of R$81.674,06. This is an excellent opportunity for those who wish to enter the car market without compromising their budget too much.
What's new in the 2025 line
In July 2024, Citroen launched the 2025 C3 line, bringing small but significant improvements to standard equipment.
Now, all versions of the C3, including the Live Plus, have a penknife-type key, something that not even the top-of-the-line model, the C3 Aircross, previously offered.
In addition, the optional Plus package, which cost an additional R$1.000 and included a defroster, washer and rear wiper, as well as a sound system with Bluetooth connection from Mopar, now comes standard on the entry-level version.
These updates make the C3 an even more attractive option, especially for those eyeing traditional brands like Volkswagen e Toyota, but now they can consider an equally reliable alternative at a much more affordable price.
Change in the scenario with the new C3?
However, with offerings like Citroen’s, we may see a shift in consumer behavior. Is this the time to reconsider your options and invest in a brand that wasn’t previously on your radar?
