With a worldwide relevance in the mining sector, Brazil still suffers from a lack of infrastructure in this segment and the company North Star stated that the sector could generate more jobs and move the economy with new refineries of precious metals.

The scenario for the mining sector for this Sunday, (26/06), is still quite beneficial in terms of the Brazilian market, but requires new investments in infrastructure. This is what the North Star gold processing company claims, which warned of the need of new precious metal refineries in the national territory to move the country's economy and guarantee new job opportunities for the population.

Brazil still suffers from a lack of precious metal refineries and could use the construction of structures to boost the economy, says North Star

The mining sector is still one of the largest in the Brazilian market today and has a 5% share of the Brazilian Gross Domestic Product (GDP), generating jobs and economy at all times in the country.

However, although the segment has a strong responsibility for economic growth for the country, mining still needs new investments in infrastructure, mainly in the field of precious metals, in which the need for new refineries to process products is urgent.

And investment in the creation of new refineries for the production of precious metals could bring new directions for the Brazilian economy in the mining sector, according to the North Star gold exploration company.

This is because the precious metals segment has been growing significantly in recent years in the national and international market and, with new proposals for refineries in Brazil, a series of new businesses could be signed in the country, with the creation of jobs and movement of the economy. . However, the Brazilian government is still negligent in relation to the segment and has no prospects for investment in the field.

Thus, Maurício Gaioti, president of North Star SA, warns of the benefits of new refineries and states: “The refineries would bring us the possibility of transforming the raw material, here, on national soil, into refined material, to be used in the various industries, including domestically. Technology, jewellery, financial and banking, several industries would benefit. You have a material, a standard of excellence, internationally accepted and it is already a certainty of the quality of that ore, it is no longer a question of the raw material, of what will actually be found within that material”.

Extraction of precious metals still brings uncertainties in the mining industry, but processing in refineries guarantees the necessary security for companies

One of the biggest problems in the precious metal mining business in Brazil today is the uncertainty and insecurity in the production of these materials. This is because it is only possible to make estimates of the final value of the gross product, without being sure of what the commercialization price will be, which prevents many companies from entering the field.

In this way, only the refinery can reach the purity level and add to that metal, already with a high degree of refining.

Therefore, the creation of new refineries in Brazil would allow a vertical growth of the precious metals sector in the country, with a greater added value to the product, which would bring an even greater movement to the economy. In addition, the chain of job opportunities would grow significantly, as the workforce would become increasingly specialized in the field over the next few years.

Now, what North Star expects is that the discussions around the precious metal refineries in the country can grow with the national government over the next few years, providing projects for the construction of new structures so that the national mining market is benefited with the business opportunities.
