In an interview given to Petronotícias, José Antunes Sobrinho, a shareholder of the holding company, said that one of the company's priorities is the completion of the works at Usina São Roque, in Santa Catarina, and the resumption of business with Petrobras.

According to José Antunes, “The operation, which consists of the issuance of debentures by the Norwegian institution, involves a total of US$ 90 million in debt issued”. José completed by saying that the company is “renegotiating debts with BNDES and the Regional Development Bank of the Extreme South (BRDE)”. As for the oil and gas sector, the businessman said that thanks to the recently signed leniency agreement, Nova Engevix will be able to return to operating with Petrobras “in the near future”.

Can you tell us when the work on the São Roque HPP will resume and how the company will raise the necessary R$ 380 million?

“The works are expected to be resumed at the end of March and beginning of April of this year, subject to the success of an operation to raise funds coordinated by the investment bank Arctic Securities. The operation, which consists of the issuance of debentures by the Norwegian institution, involves a total of US$ 90 million in debt issued”.

What are Grupo Nova's plans for the oil and gas market? Do you intend any initiative in this segment?

The plans are those concerning the Shipyard's Judicial Recovery Plan and the actions aimed at its operational resumption.

The company is still prevented from being hired by Petrobras. But are there any measures underway or being planned to remove the company's name from this list?
