Renata Alves defends the incorporation of Novamed by EMS
According to the legal and Risks and Compliance director of the NC group, Renata Alves, EMS currently operates in Amazonas through the company Novamed, and the idea behind the incorporation is that the consumer is able to identify that the medicine purchased by him in a pharmacy is manufactured by the pharmaceutical industry present in the state of Amazonas.
The director also states that the intention is to extend EMS knowledge to the state, in order to further strengthen the brand and its presence, in addition to providing the expansion of its social action projects and the fulfillment of its social function in the country.
In addition to the company's representatives, the event was also attended by the head of Sedecti's Investment Attraction and Foreign Trade Department, Jeibi Medeiros, representing the minister, Angelus Figueira; the superintendent of the Manaus Free Trade Zone (Suframa), Algacir Polsin; among other invited participants.
Under this bias, Jeibi Medeiros declared that Novamed is a factory that impresses with its processes, numbers and modern environment full of technology. For him, the visit was of great interest, as it allowed a better knowledge of the work that the company has been carrying out in the city of Manaus and also of the way in which the investment is being applied, since it is a company that has the incentives taxes granted by the Government of Amazonas.
Algacir Posin, in turn, opined that the investment to incorporate Novamed into EMS will be of great importance, given that the entire production of medicines and pill capsules will be taken to Manaus, thus expanding the generation of jobs and revenues in the region.
