The Aeronautics Contest offers 243 mid-level vacancies with a starting salary of R$ 1.500 in five different specialties. Applications for the contest will be open from February 14
The new announcement published by the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) about the Air Force Contest has vacancies for admission to the Sergeant Training Course (CFS) in the first half of 2023. 17 years until the last day of 24.

The 243 vacancies made available by the Air Force are divided into 5 specialties, namely: air traffic control with 96 vacancies, aircraft mechanics with 90, guard and security with 30 vacancies, war material with 15 and, finally, flight equipment with 12 vacancies. The vacancies in the specialties of aircraft mechanics, war material, guard and security are exclusively for men, while the vacancies in air traffic control and flight equipment are for both men and women.

Registration for the selection process
To enroll in the Aeronautics Contest, the interested party must fill out the form available at Admission and Selection Division website of the School of Aeronautical Specialists (EEAR), from the 14th of February until the 14th of the following month. Once completed, it is necessary to pay a fee corresponding to R$ 80.
How will the Aeronautics Contest take place
The exam is divided into two parts, the first being an objective test in Portuguese, English, Mathematics and Physics. In the second part, there is the health inspection (INSPSAU), the psychological aptitude test (EAP), the physical fitness assessment test (TACF) and the complementary hetero-identification procedure (PHC).
The first stage is scheduled for June 5th. The second stage lasts longer, will take place between August 16th and September 2nd, and the physical assessment will take place from October 24th to 28th.
The Aeronautics Contest will be applied in 16 municipalities in the country, namely: São Paulo (SP), São José dos Campos (SP), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Belo Horizonte (MG), Brasília (DF), Campo Grande ( MS), Curitiba (PR), Canoas (RS), Santa Maria (RS), Natal (RN), Recife (PE), Alcântara (MA), Manaus (AM), Belém (PA), Porto Velho (RO) and Boa Vista (RR).
The Sergeant Training Course (CFS)
Those who are approved in the Air Force contest will start the CSF in the first month of 2023, the course will end in 2025. During that time, recruits will be on boarding school. In addition to the initial salary of R$ 1.500, food, accommodation, uniforms, and medical assistance will be guaranteed to those approved in the competition. Upon completion of the CFS, the salary of the military will be around R$5.500.
