Archer CEO congratulated Aker PB for his services in the oil market
Dag Skindlo, CEO of Archer, commented: “Our experience with Ula and Valhall assets goes back more than 30 years and we are immensely proud of that legacy. Aker BP's long-term commitment to Archer shows its continued confidence in our ability to provide safe and efficient operations and we are delighted to continue this relationship.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank our people for their hard work and commitment to Aker BP's operations and their commitment to providing our customers with innovative and collaborative solutions that improve delivery and integrity."
The Ula field is located in the southern part of the North Sea and consists of three oil platforms
The field center serves as an area hub for the Tambar satellite field and as an outsourced host for the Oselvar and Blane fields. Valhall is a giant oil field in southern Norway on the North Sea.
Production began in 1982 and following the commissioning of the new PH platform in 2013, the field now has the potential to continue producing for several decades.
