Find out which stores and cars are part of the new Chinese brand will be present in Brazil
The first Omoda Jaecoo stores in Brazil begin operating in 10th of next month, and the goal is bold to reach 150 points of sale by 2028. The first dealership is already open, located in the East Zone of São Paulo, and all stores will follow a well-defined visual concept: on one side Omoda, with its futuristic vehicles, on the other, Jaecoo, with SUVs robust and adventurous.
In addition, all stores of the new Chinese brand will have exclusive after-sales spaces to ensure complete service. The only exception will be the store on Avenida Europa, in the capital of São Paulo. Omoda Jaecoo debuts with two main models, namely:
- Gol, HB20 and more: the best-selling used cars in March 2025 will surprise you!
- Meet the new Fiat Pulse Abarth 2026: bold design and plenty of performance
- Ranking 2025: find out which are the most economical diesel pickup trucks on the market!
- Hyundai Creta 2026 brings new comfort features and a slight price increase; see what changes
- Omoda E5, a 100% electric crossover, for those looking to enter the future of mobility once and for all;
- Jaecoo 7, plug-in hybrid SUV, which was specially adjusted for the domestic market.
And there's even more news, as a conventional hybrid version of the Omoda 5 will also arrive in the coming months, in addition to a fourth model to be revealed later this year, with a launch scheduled for the end of 2025.
Possible Omoda Jaecoo factory in Brazil
In addition to the new stores, the brand has already secured three shipments of vehicles coming to Brazil and two other batches are being negotiated. The cars will arrive at the port of Vitória (ES) between the end of March and the beginning of April. The big question is about domestic production.
The new Chinese brand has already shown interest in the Jacareí (SP) factory, currently under the control of Chery and caoa. Although negotiations have not yet progressed, the brand reaffirms that it plans to produce vehicles in Brazil well before 2028.
Unlike other Chinese brands, such as BYD and GWM, Omoda Jaecoo will not link its domestic production to sales volume. Therefore, regardless of initial demand, the new Chinese brand seeks to produce its models here as soon as possible.
The fact is that the arrival of Omoda Jaecoo in Brazil adds fuel to the fire of the SUV and electric vehicle market in Brazil. Now it remains to be seen whether the new brand will win the hearts of the Brazilian market. The answer will begin to appear in the brand's new stores and cars next month.
Omoda Jaecoo's new cars in Brazil
The first to arrive here will be the Omoda 5 hybrid. The crossover is part of a course correction promoted by the Chinese brand, which is part of the Chery group. The initial idea was to launch the mild hybrid version, which shares mechanical assembly with the Caoa Chery Tiggo 5X and Tiggo 7.
However, the company opted for the unprecedented full hybrid (HEV) based on the same 1.5 turbo gasoline engine, but with direct fuel injection and Miller cycle operation.
The Jaecoo 7 will be the first car from the new Chinese brand with the Super Hybrid System (SHS). According to the company, SHS technology is a solution for highly efficient vehicles that deliver great performance.
