The millionaire investment was made by E-business and aims to reduce carbon emissions into the atmosphere
E-business Park, a business complex located in the Lapa district, west of São Paulo, is embarking on an ambitious solar energy sustainability project to become one of the largest solar parks in the city. With the objective of neutralizing 100% of carbon emissions, the energy enterprise plans to invest approximately BRL 25 million until 2030 to equip 30.000 square meters of the roofs of its buildings with solar panels, according to the website Petronotícias.
Since July of this year, the E-business Park has already adopted solar energy on 630 square meters of its roofs, generating an impressive amount of 135,49 MWh per year. This is equivalent to the energy needed to supply 75 homes with an average consumption of 152,2 kWh per month. By the end of 2023, the forecast is to expand this initiative to another 632 square meters of roofs, generating 147,94 MWh per year. However, the ambitious zero-carbon plan does not stop there.
Sidney Angulo, entrepreneur and director of E-business Park, reveals that the zero-carbon complex has an additional 20.000 square meters of roofs available for exploration, which means that the project can grow significantly and reach the milestone of 50.000 square meters of roofs equipped with solar panels.

Commitment to sustainability and reduction of carbon emissions
The solar energy project, which currently consumes an average of R$ 375 per month in electricity, with an annual consumption of around 9.000 MWh, is attended daily by approximately 8.000 people, including employees and visitors. Sidney Angulo emphasizes that the solar energy generated will be used mainly to supply the business complex itself, an important step towards the goal of zeroing carbon emissions by 2030.
E-business Park stands out for its campus setting, offering 160.000 square meters in a gated community. Of this space, 120.000 square meters are available for lease corporate offices. The complex also includes a forest and green areas with more than 2.000 cataloged trees, contributing to a sustainable environment and zero carbon emissions. The E-business Park houses the offices of renowned companies such as EDP, Lenovo, Teleperformance and Nokia, in addition to the studios of the famous cartoonist Mauricio de Sousa, creator of Turma da Mônica. Operating 24 hours a day, the development invests in specialized security, complete monitoring by cameras and intelligent drones, firefighters and maintenance teams.
The E-business Park is demonstrating a solid commitment to sustainability and reducing carbon emissions, while establishing itself as an example of responsible environmental practices in São Paulo. With your ambitious solar energy expansion plans, is paving the way for a greener and more sustainable future in the city.
