TIM 50+ age inclusion initiative, in partnership with Labora, proposes to hire people from 50 years old who have completed high school and are comfortable with smartphones. Job vacancies are for cities in São Paulo and other states
The telephone company TIM Brasil, a subsidiary of Telecom Italia, is accepting applications for the TIM 50+ program, which offers job openings for senior professionals in the operator's sales units. All vacancies are for the sales consulting sector in the states of São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, Paraná and Bahia. Recruitment is being carried out through the Labora's partnership website.

What does the TIM 50+ consist of?
The project emerged from a union with HRTech specialized in age diversity, Labora. To make the program possible, TIM has a startup that links senior talent to companies through the use of technology. In recent years, Labora has been responsible for training more than 20 workers who are part of its community so that they can re-establish themselves in the market, which often undergoes transformations.
TIM makes a commitment to inclusion, as seen by the availability of a program to hire only transgender people. Now, reaffirming this value, TIM directs its job openings in São Paulo and other locations especially to people aged 50 and over, who are also often marginalized in the job market.

The TIM 50+ initiative is intertwined with TIM's commitment to becoming a signatory to the Forum Gerações e Futuro do Trabalho, an institutional action that brings together companies that also demonstrate commitment to causes of inclusion of professionals of different ages in job vacancies in the most different sectors.
In this context, the Head of Development, Education and Inclusion in HR at TIM, Giacomo Strazza says that the estimate is that, by 2040, more than half of the workforce in jobs in Brazil will be at least 45 years old. “With that in mind, we decided to launch the TIM 50+ to give even more visibility to the generational issue in the job market, as we recognize the importance and value of senior professionals”, explains Giacomo.
The TIM 50+ project offers certificates in the qualification courses “Welcome to your 2nd Career” and “Customer Experience Specialist”, both free and online; training on issues of diversity and generational inclusion for the groups that will receive the talents and specific assistance for 3 months with contracted workers, in order to focus on adapting to actions and inclusion in the environment.

Necessary requirements for these job openings
To get the job and be part of the TIM team, it is necessary to be, as already mentioned, 50 years old or older; be available to work on a scale, including Saturdays and Sundays; having completed high school and residing in São Paulo, Salvador, Mauá, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro or Campinas. In addition, skills such as good communication skills are sought; ease with customer service and good understanding of digital platforms. Also, having commercial experience and familiarity with smartphone operating systems, Android and IOS, are differentials.
