With the intention of saving US$ 8,1 billion by 2023, Petrobras wants to lay off employees and reduce operational activities starting this year
Petrobras communicated a few days ago its plan to reduce by up to US$ 8,1 billion of its operating expenses between 2019 to 2023, I announce this feat on March 8 officially. According to Petrobras, employee expenses are among the main cuts within the project through the voluntary dismissal plan, also including reduction in advertising spending and its offices across the country.
With this expense deduction in its plans, the Brazilian state-owned company said it is also included in the divestment program, which were previously estimated at 122,6 billion by 2023.
