The president of Petrobras, stated his interest in installing a lubricant factory at Comperj to operate from a connection with Reduc

Great news for Itaborái! Roberto Castello Branco, president of Petrobras, said this morning of Wednesday, December 4, that he was interested in setting up a lubricant unit at Comperj to operate from a connection with Reduc, a refinery in Duque de Caxias.  Offshore outsourcer announces at 8:30 am today, many job openings for Macaé

Castello Branco: “We have two plans. We announced a partnership with Equinor to build thermoelectric plants in the Comperj area. Another plan is to use Comperj equipment to produce state-of-the-art lubricants by Reduc, RJ.”

Instead of installing new equipment at Reduc, the idea is to have a pipeline from Reduc to Comperj. It is a Petrobras-only project and there is no estimated investment yet, it is an idea. concludes Castello Branco

Reduc, with the sale of the other refineries, will undergo modernization. In the refineries, we are going to invest US$ 6 billion in four years.

  • According to the president of the state company, Petrobras wants to invest US$ 6 billion, over four years, in the modernization of the refining park. If the sale of the eight units is successful, the capacity will be concentrated in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

The announcement was made by Roberto Castello Branco, president of Petrobras, in an interview with Valor.
