Another 28 oil fields are sold by Petrobras in Bahia, the oil company says it will focus on the pre-salt in the southeast region
Petrobras announced yesterday (23/12) in a statement the non-sale phase of its entire stake in 28 onshore oil fields, located in the Recôncavo and Tucano Basins, in different municipalities in the state of Bahia, jointly known as Polo Bahia Terra. The 28 onshore fields for sale by Petrobras have integrated facilities. Estal had started the divestment process last month, when it carried out the opportunity disclosure stage.
Petrobras informs that the concessions corresponding to the Miranga Complex (referenced in the Material Fact dated 28/08/2017) may be included in the concession process for the Polo Bahia Terra, which will be announced in due course.

This operation is in line with the company's strategy of optimizing the portfolio and improving the allocation of capital, starting to increasingly focus its resources on world-class assets in deep and ultra-deep waters, where Petrobras has demonstrated a great competitive edge over the years.
The pole has about 1,7 wells in operation, in addition to collection and treatment stations, oil storage and handling parks, gas and oil pipelines and other associated infrastructure, said the oil company, which is the operator of the fields with a 100% stake.
The assets had an average production of around 14 barrels of oil per day and 618 cubic meters of gas per day between January and November 2020.
Another 12 oil fields sold yesterday by Petrobras
Petrobras announced yesterday (23/12) that it signed a multi-billion dollar contract with Petrorecôncavo that involves its entire stake in 12 onshore oil exploration and production fields, called Polo Remanso, located in the state of Bahia
The onshore fields in Bahia were sold to Petrorecôncavo for US$ 30 million, of which Petrobras received US$ 4 million today, another US$ 21 million will be paid at the closing of the transaction and US$ 5 million one year after the closing.
The Remanso Hub comprises the onshore fields of Brejinho, Canabrava, Cassarongongo, Fazenda Belém, Gomo, Mata de São João, Norte Fazenda Caruaçu, Remanso, Rio dos Ovos, Rio Subaúma, São Pedro and Sesmaria, located in the state of Bahia. Average production from January to November was approximately 3,9 barrels of oil per day (bpd) and 75 m?/day of natural gas.
