P-75 Petrobras Búzios

Petrobras started oil and natural gas production in the Búzios 2 area, in the Santos Basin pre-salt, through FPSO P-75, which is the second unit installed in the Búzios field, in Brazil.

The floating production, storage and offloading of oil and gas (FPSO) unit is located approximately 210 km off the coast of the state of Rio de Janeiro, with a water depth of 2.000 meters.

Petrobras reported on Monday that, with a daily capacity to process up to 150 barrels of oil and compress up to 6 million cubic meters of natural gas, the P-75 would produce up to ten producing wells, also using seven injection wells. The rescue vessels will be used to unload the oil production, while the gas will be drained through the pre-salt gas pipeline routes.

According to the oil company, the P-75 is the fourth platform to start production in 2018, after the FPSO Cidade Campos dos Goytacazes, in the Tartaruga Verde field, the P-69, in the Lula field, and the P-74, in the field of Buzios. .

These platforms, together with the P-67, which is already located in the Lula field, and the P-76, which should go to the Búzios field in December, will complete the six systems planned for this year in Brazil, contributing to the increase in Petrobras' Production within the horizon of the 2018-2022 Business and Management Plan.
