This Thursday (03/09) Petrobras receives proposals from companies interested in providing support with contract management and inspection services for the Búzios 5 Project. Petrobras broke a monthly oil production record in its deepwater field – Búzios

There will be many disputes to win the bid due to the large scope of service that involves the entire project management that covers all the administrative and technical support of the project.

The competition involves the entire national territory, in the closed dispute mode. The opening of the envelopes with the proposals is already scheduled for September 25th.

The big winner of the bidding will have to perform an extensive list of activities. Prioritizing contract management first. The winning company must provide logistics support, technical documentation management, engineering expediting and construction and installation support, among other actions.

In addition to the activities above, the company winning the bid will help Petrobras with expediting services for the subsea system of the Búzios 5 project

About the Buzios 5 Petrobras Project

In the second block of services, referring to inspection support actions, there will be quality inspection activities in Brazil and abroad, offshore construction inspection and onshore and offshore HSE auditing.

Work on the FPSO Almirante Barroso is at 36% physical progress, the platform will be capable of processing 150 barrels of crude oil per day and 6 million m³/day of natural gas. Its minimum storage capacity will be 1,4 million barrels of crude oil.

The Brasfels shipyard, in Angra dos Reis, was chosen to carry out the work on the modules for the topside of the FPSO Almirante Barroso, with delivery scheduled for 2021, when the platform will be connected to 15 wells – eight producers and seven injectors.
