From 0 am on 26/10, Petrobras employees paralyzed all areas of the company, is what guarantees the FUP, organizer of the strike.
Last Wednesday (23/10), Click Petróleo e Gas reported that FUP warned Petrobras, its subsidiaries and Araucária Nitrogenados (ANSA) who will go on strike from next Saturday.
Approved in an assembly by more than 70% of the oil workers, the movement will have the adhesion of the majority of the workers and will affect all areas of Petrobrás.
The statement was made by the general coordinator of the Single Federation of Petroleum Workers (FUP), José Maria Rangel, according to whom the strike by Petrobras employees will be very relevant, but the effects will only be felt between 24 and 36 hours after it has started.

The reasons, according to the union leader, are the stocks of fuel that the refineries have. In offshore production, however, it takes a certain amount of time before the stoppage of work is felt on land.
The union leader also explained that the intention is to paralyze all areas of the company, that is, the refining, production, transport and thermoelectric areas, which will feel the effect of the strike.
lack of agreement
A FUP entered the mediation process at the TST due to the lack of an agreement with Petrobras, which had not happened for years, with the company even refusing to participate in the mediation meetings.
The points on which Petrobras and FUP did not reach an agreement were mainly: the validity of the collective agreement, the payment of overtime, the cost of the health plan, the retention of union fees and the promotion of salary ranges.
The FUP requested TST mediation for the above points, but did not receive a response from the Court. Only this response could make the workers back down and give up the strike.
If there is no news in the process, Petrobras will face a stoppage of its activities from 0:26 on the XNUMXth, guaranteed the unionist.
