Vacancies at PetroRecôncavo are for candidates with higher education in engineering to work as a trainee in Bahia and Rio Grande do Norte

PetroRecôncavo, the largest independent operator of onshore oil and gas exploration and production in Brazil, announced today, December 02nd, that it is selecting newly graduated engineers for its staff. Recently, the company also announced internship vacancies to work in the oil sector, check it out here.

Candidates must monitor and develop activities in the Engineering area, involving carrying out a feasibility study, preparing projects and technical documentation and developing work methods, in order to qualify for the occupation of the planned professional position and improve business knowledge, company's products or services.

Job vacancies at PetroRecôncavo are for the cities of Mata de São João – BA (2 vacancies), Salvador – BA (2 vacancies) and Mossoró – RN (2 vacancies).

Requirements

  • Graduation completed between December/2017 to December/2019.
  • Complete higher education in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Languages: English – Advanced
  • Availability for displacement (other states of Brazil)

Assets of PetroRecôncavo

The 17 fields operated by PetroRecôncavo are located in the Recôncavo Basin, in the State of Bahia, which contains the largest onshore oil reserves in Brazil according to ANP data. The Company estimates that the Operated Fields contain significant crude volume of Original Oil in situ, totaling approximately 499 million barrels of oil, of which only 17,3% were produced as of December 31, 2014.
