Among Peugeot's prototypes are the E-3008, E-408 and E-5008, which will be unveiled soon
Starting 2023 with big news, Peugeot announced that it will have five new electric car models the battery on the line by 2025. Two of them, E-308 e E-308 SW (wagon), were unveiled in 2022 and should start shipping soon. Meanwhile, the French automaker has confirmed the other three cars as E-408, E-3008 e E-5008.
In addition, Peugeot unveiled several models of futuristic aesthetics, which have a new light signature. The seven prototypes shown are SUVs, sedans and coupes of various sizes that have a different look compared to the current electric cars in the range.
Autonomy of new electric cars shocks the public
The next model to be unveiled by the French automaker is the Peugeot E-3008, which will leave the factory in the second half of 2023. It is a fully electric version of the 3008, which will have among its greatest highlights the autonomy of up to 700 km. This will be the first vehicle based on the new platform to medium-sized models from Stellantis and will feature three different propulsion options, including dual engine versions.

About Peugeot models E-308 (hatchback and station wagon), which have already been revealed, the automaker announced that it will use a new 115 kW (156 hp) front engine and a 54 kWh battery, which has a usable capacity of 51 kWh. Your autonomy reaches around 400 km (WLTP), with a DC charge and recharge power of 100 kW, enough to recover from 20 to 80% state of charge in 25 minutes.
Peugeot plans to have a 100% electrified offer by 2025
Peugeot's goal is to have "a 100% electrified offer" by 2025. The French company will have a battery electric car (BEV) available in all segments in which it operates. This information was released by the brand during the launch of the E-2008 here in Brazil, in November last year. By 2030, all models of Peugeot sold in Europe will be purely electrical.
