It was not long ago that the Chinese brand Xiaomi presented the world with the first version of its electric vehicle, which was compared to a Ferrari. Now, a user of the Chinese social network Weibo shared photos and specifications of the model obtained from the country's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
According to information obtained from the Chinese Ministry, the company's electric vehicle Xiaomi will be called SU7 and will be a then spacious, measuring 4.997 mm long x 1.963 mm wide x 1.455 mm high x 3.000 mm wheelbase, with weight ranging from 1.980 to 2.205 kg. Furthermore, the first official images of the car were also leaked, confirming that the design shown in the prototype has not changed. The SU7 will have three variants: entry, Pro and Max, each with different autonomy and power.
The simplest model will have a 220 kW (300 hp) engine, rear-wheel drive and LFP batteries from BYD. The exact range capacity per charge has not yet been released and it will not have sensors LiDAR in the equipment list. The Pro and Max versions will have all-wheel drive, two electric motors and a combined power of 495 kW (675 hp), with a maximum speed of 265 km/h. The batteries will be of the NMC type, manufactured by CATL, with the autonomy per charge also kept secret. These versions will have sensors LiDAR and autonomous driving capabilities. The car's chassis will be made of tubular steel, with 18-inch wheels shod with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2 tires and a disc braking system consisting of six pistons at the front and two at the rear. The interior features sports seats covered in Alcantara, a three-spoke steering wheel, LCD instrument panel, central console with gear selector and other controls, including air conditioning, on the ceiling.

The car will be manufactured by BAIC (Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Co. Ltd) and will feature HyperOS software, developed by the company itself. Xiaomi, as the vehicle's operating system. Production will begin in December 2023, with the first deliveries scheduled for 2024. The estimated price is 300 thousand yuan, equivalent to US$41.260 or R$200,2 thousand, without taxes or import fees.
