With more than a thousand vacancies, the announcement referring to the new PM RN contest requires that candidates interested in the positions of soldier and soldier musician, have higher education.
The Military Police of Rio Grande do Norte opened a new public notice regarding the new contest. The selection process covers 1.158 vacancies for soldiers with training top. Of the vacancies offered, 1.128 are for student soldiers, while 30 are for student musicians.
Those with an interest in square functions must have a bachelor's degree, licentiate or technologist degree. As for the position of musician, professionals must present training and technical skills related to the required instrument.
The instruments which need to be presented are: Flute in C; Clarinet in Bb; Alto Saxophone in E flat; Tenor Saxophone in Bb; E-flat Baritone Saxophone 1; Trumpet in Bb; tenor stick trombone 2; Trombone Bass 1; Euphonium/Euphonium in Bb; Tuba in Bb/C; Horn in F/Bb; or Classic Drums/Percussion (tympanum, snare drum, glockenspiel).
In addition, the minimum height required is 1,60 m for men and 1,55 m for women, both aged up to 35 years. The initial earnings will be BRL 1.302,00, which may be increased and added to benefits.

The allotment of student soldiers who complete the formation of squares will be carried out at the discretion of PM RN, and may be sent anywhere in the State of Rio Grande do Norte.
About registration
Entries to participate in the PM RN Contest can be made from the day January 23rd to February 23nd at 22pm. Candidates can apply through the Brazilian Institute of Training and Capacity Building (IBFC) website. Candidates must choose the location for the first test when registering.
A fee to participate in the selection is R$122,50, it needs to be paid by the day February 23 nd. Those enrolled in the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico), blood, bone marrow and breast milk donors can apply for fee exemption.

About the PM RN Contest Stages
The contest consists of seven stages: objective test, musical qualification exam, Physical Aptitude Test (TAF), psychological assessment, health inspection (PM RN), social investigation and hetero-identification interview.
The objective tests will be held in the following cities: Caicó, João Câmara, Natal, Mossoró, Nova Cruz and Pau dos Ferros and are scheduled for March 26th.
The objective test will consist of 80 questions, 10 of which are for the Portuguese language; 10 on Logical Reasoning, 10 on Computer Basics; 10 of Notions of Constitutional Law, 10 of Notions of Military Criminal Law, 10 of Notions of Criminal Law, 10 questions of Extravagant Legislation and 10 questions about PM RN Legislation.
To move on to the next stage, it is necessary to answer at least 40% of the questions per subject and 60% of the total test. Only those classified within the limit of twice the number of vacancies per selected position will be qualified for the next stage.
The call for approved candidates will be announced on May 2nd and those approved must take the subsequent steps in the city of Natal. According to the released schedule, the musical qualification exam will take place on May 7th, while the TAF will be between the 8th and 14th of the same month.
The result of the contest will be announced on July 12th. After completion of all stages, it may be homologated, being valid for a period of two years, which may be extended for the same period.
