Correios announced the postponement for the second time of the public session of an auction of postal objects, scheduled to take place this Wednesday (17).
The objects in question are considered junk, that is, they are items that were not delivered and could not be returned to the sender.
Refuse objects are those that were not delivered for some reason and, after failed delivery attempts, returned to the Correios central office. As many of them were not able to be returned to the sender, they are now considered as refuse and are destined for auctions, where people and companies can buy them.
The scrap mail auction takes place approximately once a year and is an opportunity to buy items for lower prices, as many of them are in good condition.
