New vacancies in Pré-Sal Petróleo: Public competition notice will be released soon, offering hundreds of opportunities for different positions in one of the most strategic sectors in the country.
The first Pré-Sal Petróleo competition for permanent staff should offer 880 vacancies. In total, there are 100 vacancies in Pré-Sal to be filled immediately and 780 to form a personnel reserve register, distributed across several higher level positions, with initial salaries of up to R$ 19.610.

The confirmation of the Pré-Sal competition was made by the company on the morning of Thursday, November 7, after the publication, in the Official Gazette of the Union, of the extract of the contract with the organizing bank, which will be the Development and Training Institute (IDCAP).

What will the Pré-Sal competition tests be like?
The public competition for vacancies in Pré-Sal will have a 5% vacancy reserve for people with disabilities and 20% for black candidates. The fees will be R$100 for analysts and R$150 for lawyers and specialists. According to preliminary information, the application of the tests in the Pré-Sal competition should take place in the first half of 2025, in the cities of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Salvador.
The public competition will include stages such as objective tests for all positions, essay tests for lawyers and oil specialists. The objective test will have 60 questions on Portuguese (10 questions), English (10 questions), and specific knowledge (40 questions).
The discursive test for the positions of Lawyer and Oil and Gas Specialist will consist of 2 questions, one in Portuguese and one in English, on topics related to the specific knowledge of the position, worth 50 points each, totaling 100 points.
How was the last public tender?
Although the first Pré-Sal Petróleo competition has not yet been held, a selection process was already carried out in 2017, with an offer of 240 temporary vacancies in Pré-Sal, 15 to be filled immediately and 225 to form a personnel reserve register.
