Fall in the national price of fuel: in the world the average liter price of gasoline is around U$1,44, in Brazil the value drops to the equivalent of U$1,119.

The reduction in taxes was the most relevant factor for the decrease in the price of gasoline. AAfter the entry of Caio Paes de Andrade into the government collections, the liter of gasoline dropped by R$ 0,20 cents and left signs that it would continue to decline in the coming weeks.

With the elections approaching, Bolsonaro declared that the value should fall and become the cheapest in global comparison, but this benefit has a date to end, the end of his shift.

The drop in value is around 16,7% compared to the world average. According to data recorded by Global Petrol, the average liter price of gasoline in the world is around US$1,44, while in Brazil the value plummets to the equivalent of US$1,119.

Abicom informed that the value was similar to the import and all this due to the reduction of prices in Petrobras refineries.

Change in the value of fuel influences not only directly but indirectly

Obviously, the change in the price of fuel influences not only directly but also indirectly, when dealing with the general economy of the country. The three main factors are the cut of federal taxes, Taxes on Circulation of Goods and Services (ICMS) and determination of the ceiling of taxes related to the product at up to 18%.

Despite these factors, the price of oil is still very unstable, while diesel has maintained its values and does not show any signs of change for the time being. The main diesel problem is the scarcity that has been appearing in the market as the months go by, as national consumption has increased considerably.
