Itumbiara City Hall resumes public competition with 800 vacancies. This is a competition for primary to higher education with salaries of up to R$4,5.
A Itumbiara City Hall, located in the southern region of Goiás, opened registrations on Tuesday (28) for a public competition with 800 places. This is a competition for primary and higher education with salaries that can reach R$4,5. The registration deadline ends on December 21, 2023 and can be done through the Instituto Verbena website, linked to the Federal University of Goiás.
List of open vacancies in the Itumbiara City Hall public competition
This public competition was postponed by the city of Itumbiara, on August 29, so that the Verbena Institute could make adjustments to the notice, based on the recommendations of the TCM, Court of Auditors for the Municipalities of Goiás.
The competition notice for primary to higher education offers opportunities in several areas. The salary varies according to each position, as well as working hours ranging from 20 hours to 40 hours per week. We have put together a list of positions and their respective vacancies:

After two months suspended by decision of the TCE GO, the public tender for the City of Itumbiara was officially resumed. Along with this, some corrections were published regarding the distribution of vacancies, requirements, duties and programmatic contents. In total, 200 immediate vacancies are offered and another 600 in reserve registration for various positions and education.
With the schedule also readjusted, registrations are now open and can be completed until December 21st via the Instituto Verbena website.
To register, you will need to pay R$60 for Complete and Incomplete Elementary Education positions. For secondary and technical education positions, it will be necessary to pay R$100 and, finally, for higher education positions, it will be necessary to pay R$120.
The evaluation of registered candidates will be carried out through an objective test, which is scheduled to be held on January 14, 2024. For Professor positions, an essay and title test will also be carried out.
Find out what the selection process will be like
The Objective Test of the Itumbiara City Hall competition for all positions will last 4 hours, with the exception of Teacher positions, as this will last 5 hours. Worth 100 points, the candidate who does not obtain at least 40 points will be eliminated. The test questions will be multiple choice with 4 alternatives, only one of which is correct.
The essay will be carried out on the same day as the Objective test, with a focus on evaluating the ability to articulate knowledge through textual production, observing the skills and competencies in manipulating the Portuguese Language.
The candidate who does not obtain at least 100 points will be worth 40 points and will be eliminated. Finally, the title test will have a maximum score of 100 points and will be carried out according to the criteria specified in the notice.
