The Cefet RJ contest is for teachers of Basic, Technical and Technological Education (EBTT)

Cefet RJ (Federal Center for Technological Education Celso Suckow da Fonseca) announced the opening of a new public tender with 81 vacancies for teachers of Basic, Technical and Technological Education (EBTT). The call for tenders was published on June 6th and offers opportunities in different areas. Teachers' salaries can reach BRL 11 thousand, being an excellent opportunity for those who wish to work in teaching and contribute to the training of new professionals.

Requirements for competition and teacher remuneration

To apply for the teacher contest, it is necessary to meet the requirements determined in the public notice, such as graduation (licenciatura) and master's degree in the field, when solicited. In addition, Cefet RJ offers reservations for people with disabilities, blacks and browns.

The basic remuneration for full-time professors is R $ 4.875,18. To the basic values, the following benefits can be added by title: R$975,04 for specialization, R$2.437,59 for master's and R$5.606,46 for doctorate.

In addition, teachers approved in the contest will be entitled to meal allowance in the amount of R$658, transportation allowance and pre-school allowance. With this, a professor with a doctorate will have a initial remuneration of BRL 11.139,64, considering the basic salary, the remuneration for title and food allowance.

Registration and competition stages for teachers at Cefet RJ

Entries for the competition will be open from June 7th to 22nd through the official website of Cefet RJ. It is necessary to fill out the registration form and pay the fee in the amount of R$120. 

Candidates registered in the Cadastro Único (CadÚnico) and members of low-income families are entitled to request exemption from the registration fee for the competition. The specific form for the exemption must be completed between the 7th and 8th of June, also through the Cefet RJ portal.

The Cefet RJ contest will consist of three stages: written test, public class test and title test. The tests will be held in the municipality where the campus for which the candidate is applying is located. The program contents will be announced on June 7th.
