QatarEnergy signs production sharing agreements for marine areas in Suriname, with 30% stake and operator in deep waters.
The company QatarEnergy announced last Friday the signing of two production sharing contracts relating to two maritime areas off the coast of Suriname, these rights were obtained during a auction held in June this year, according to a statement released by the company.
Additionally, QatarEnergy acquired a 40% stake in Block 65, with Shell acting as operator holding the remaining 60%, as indicated in the statement.
