The University of Brasília is offering thousands of places on free online public health courses. Sign up now!
The University of Brasilia (UnB) is with Registration open for free courses, carried out 100% online, with certification at the end. In total, 50 thousand vacancies are offered in qualifications focused on the public health area.
These free courses are made available through the platform from the Open University of the Unified Health System (UNA-SUS), and can be taken from anywhere in Brazil. There are two course options in Portuguese and one in Spanish, which expands access to different audiences.
The free online courses (EAD) are primarily aimed at healthcare professionals and medical students, but are also open to anyone interested in the topics covered. The course must be completed by the end of January 2025 to guarantee certification.

1. Surveillance and Control of Vectors of Importance to Public Health
This course has a workload of 45 hours and is aimed at professionals trained in areas such as biological sciences, engineering, veterinary medicine and animal husbandry, who work in state or municipal health departments, working with vector prevention and control. However, due to the relevance of the topic, other health professionals can also participate.
