With machinery imported from Spain, the new space will start operating by the end of the year
Founded in 1995 as a regional company, Perfil Alumínio has become one of the largest and most complete companies in the aluminum sector in Brazil. Its factory, which is located in the Ribeira neighborhood in Viana, is more than doubling in size with the new investments made, which add up to R$ 90 million.
The new space has machinery imported from Spain and will start operating by the end of this year. With this investment, the factory, which today has 466 employeesários will employ 566 people, as 100 new jobs will be generated. In addition, the production of Perfil Alumínio will increase by 130%.
Investments will allow Perfil Alumínio to produce 1,6 tons of aluminum per month
The company's current production line has the capacity to transform 700 tons of aluminum per month. With the expansion of the factory, capacity will rise to 1,6 tons of aluminum per month, which represents a 130% increase in production. “Profil transforms the aluminum billet into frames, structures for closing off balconies, supports for photovoltaic panels, in short, into a series of products”, explains Alexandre Casasco, director of Perfil Alumínio.

According to Casasco, the new production line will have a new extruder and a new painting machine, with Italian technology. “This new factory will allow us to continue to gain market share in Brazil and to start export to the United States, of course, without losing our participation here in the state”.
The third assembly line at Perfil Alumínio should begin construction in 2025
The civil construction industry is Perfil Alumínio's biggest customer: 10% of the aluminum used by construction companies comes from the Viana factory. Meanwhile, in Espírito Santo, 95% of the aluminum consumed is purchased at the company. The growth of the sector, mainly due to the expansion of solar energy, projects an expansion of the company.
In addition to the exponential growth of solar energy in Brazil, which has a great demand for aluminum structures, new markets are being opened in the sector. Therefore, Casasco expects that a third assembly line, the same size as the second, will begin construction in 2025.
