Do you want to study at a Federal Institute and still get paid for it? This is the proposal of IFNMG, which offers new free professional qualification courses for 80 participants.

Have you ever imagined the possibility of studying at a Federal Institute and, at the same time, make an extra incomea? This is the proposal of the Federal Institute of Northern Minas Gerais (IFNMG), through the Notice 80/2024 in which registration opens for free initial and continuing education courses – FIC and professional qualification, offering 80 places for two free course options in administrative assistant and logistics assistant.

The courses to be studied at the Federal Institute are mainly focused on qualifying 80 residents of Janaúba, expanding the possibility of qualified local labor in the administrative and logistics areas. With a workload of 120 hours each, the classes will be taught in person, providing practical and theoretical training to participants: 

Administrative Assistant

This course qualifies professionals for support roles in companies, covering document organization, customer service, schedule management and the use of IT tools. Students learn how to deal with administrative routines and the importance of communication, preparing them to work in various sectors.

Logistic assistant

The Logistics Assistant Course trains professionals to manage logistics processes, covering topics such as inventory management, transportation and distribution, receiving and shipping, logistics planning and use of information technology.

Students learn theoretical and practical skills, preparing themselves to work in various companies and contribute to supply chain efficiency.

There will be 40 places available for each course, with 50% of the places for each course (20) reserved for female candidates. Approximately 20% of the places (8) are reserved for people who self-declare as black, brown or indigenous. Candidates who fit into more than one category of reservation must choose which group they wish to enroll in.

This initiative guarantees the qualification of 80 new interested parties who will be able to study at a Federal Institute andYou will also receive a cost of living allowance of R$3,25 per hour of class, totaling R$390,00 for students who complete all stages.

Registrations can be made until September 24, 2024, free of charge, through the website of the selection process organizer: FADETEC. If the number of pre-registrations exceeds the number of vacancies, selection for free professional qualification courses will be based on priority criteria, which include being a resident of the Quem-Quem community, being a woman, being registered with CadÚnico, and being black, brown or indigenous. The waiting list will be published on the selection process website.

How will the qualification course scholarship work?

Students will receive a transportation and food allowance of R$3,25 per hour of class, totaling up to R$390, proportional to the hours of attendance. Classes will take place in the evening, from Monday to Friday, between October and November 2024, with the possibility of some practical activities during the day.
