Record in production and energy saving? Neoenergia delivers 24 works in the first quarter and moves values ​​above R$ 95 million. Works are in states such as RN, SP, MS, DF, PE, BA

Works could reduce the inflation left by the energy crisis of 2021. 

Through a press conference, Neoenergia stated that, until the month of March, it had completed at least 24 works destined to the production of energy distributed in several Brazilian states, such as  Neoenergia Coelba (BA), Neoenergia Pernambuco (PE), Neoenergia Cosern (RN), Neoenergia Elektro (SP and MS) and Neoenergia Brasília (DF).  The institution's average cash handling amount reached more than R$94 million. According to the brand, they are working day by day to build a more energy-viable world, in order to reduce the high inflation in the sector caused by the economic crisis. Some lines also received advances in modernization and quality of supply in concession areas. 

The director of Transmission and Subtransmission Projects, Fabiano Uchoas, he said that the works have some advantages, such as the generation and supply of jobs in the most varied sectors, ranging from the electricity area to even 'marketing' and information technology. Rio Formoso, with capacity above 26,6 MVA, and located in Neoenergia de Coelba, is among one of the biggest highlights of the previous quarter and promises to have a large generation during 2022. would be connected to Pratudinho-Rio Itaguari, with voltage at 138 kV.

More than 600 people in just one region will benefit – not counting the other works! – Pure economy!

Neoenergia claims that it would be benefiting more than 600 people in the region where the Pindaí II-Licínio de Almeida (69 kV) work is located, which means that there is a significant increase in the supply of electricity and makes it easier for the institution to access an even wider range of customers, allowing you to automate savings. The concessionaire claims that it would have invested more than R$ 43 million for the construction of at least three power lines and the return will come within a few years. 

Entroncamento Candeias-Santo Amaro (69kV), which already existed until then, had a significant increase in the quality of energy it could supply, since it is built in at least two circuits, that is, it guarantees that there will be no more problems regarding severe disruption. 

Neoenergia Elektro covers 70 people

Meanwhile, it should be noted that the construction located in the city of pernambuco should cover a total number of 70 thousand people. In addition, Neoenergia Elektro had to replace at least three transformers, that is, it now has the possibility of manufacturing at least 37,5 MVA. The press conference stated that some equipment that was located in the courtyard of this hub was also replaced to improve the safety of customers and their employees in the work environment.

The manufacture of more electricity has been a way for Brazil to get out of the inflationary crisis caused by the amounts charged since the creation of the scarcity flag in 2021. The scarcity flag was announced by the Ministry of Mines and Energy to put an end once and for all to the lack of energy peaks and the production crisis that concessionaires have been suffering. 

Data already show that the energy crisis left during 2021, which led to the creation of the flag of scarcity, caused a large part of developing countries, such as  Argentina, Türkiye and Brazil, had inflation above double digits. Accumulated inflation during 2021 reached 10,6%.
