This contract adds to the four FPSOs that Petrobras awarded RigNet last year and represents RigNet's continued expansion in its portfolio of FPSO deployments
After winning a public tender with Petrobras, RigNet, a leading provider of intelligent and ultra-secure network solutions, announced today, November 5, that it has signed a multi-year contract to add managed communication services to six FPSOs of the state-owned company with O3B VSAT technology. Repar refinery in Paraná is highlighted in the Petrobras privatization package.
In addition to four FPSOs that Petrobras awarded RigNet last year, this new contract represents RigNet's continued expansion in its portfolio of FPSO deployments to a total of seventeen awarded in Brazil alone.

Today, RigNet is the only service provider in Brazil to offer O3B connectivity through its Managed Communication Service.
RigNet's global expansion into the FPSO market also includes a multi-year agreement awarded in October to provide Managed Communications Service and deployment of RigNet's Crew Wellness suite of applications on three FPSOs in Thailand.
