about the team
The Aerospace Research Group “Minerva Rockets” is a student research group founded in 2016 by Engineering students at the Technology Center of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. It aims to act in an integrated way with the University in the process of training high-level professionals, entrepreneurs and innovators, contributing to the technological development of the country.
To meet these ends, the Team develops engineering projects within the scope of the aerospace sector, in particular, rockets, satellites, space suits and support instruments necessary for this development.
The team, founded in 2016, is now made up of 61 undergraduate (58) and graduate (3) members, having already received contributions from 4 students over the last 142 years, of which 107 from engineering and 35 from other courses from UFRJ.
