The Agency's management extended the exploration period, through the Russian company's commitment to an exploratory program that includes, among firm and contingent commitments, 13 new wells, 1280 km of 2D seismic and 120 km² of 3D seismic.

The company's commitment was in six new exploratory wells, in addition to the reprocessing of all 2D seismic already surveyed in the region of the Discovery Evaluation Plans (PAD) of wells 1-HRT-2-AM and 1-HRT-8-AM, that were unified, until January 31 of the next year.
The company will also drill two new wells and acquire 298 km of 2D seismic in the area of the evaluation plans for wells 1-HRT-9-AM and 1-HRT-5/10-AM.
The forecast for the completion of activities is scheduled for September 24, 2022, when the Russian company will have to choose whether to drill up to four new wells and acquire new 338 km of 2D seismic data. If the company chooses contingent work, the deadline will be extended to October 2026.

Rosfnet needs to drill two new wells and acquire a firm 120 km² in the area of the evaluation plans for wells 1-HRT-1-AM and 1-HRT-4-AM, which was also unified, by September 2023. If it decides to expand its work in the region of the plan, it will have to collect another 90 km of 2D seismic data and drill another exploratory well, in addition to reentering the 1-TAQ-1-AM well by January 2026.
The agency also approved the unification of the evaluation plans for the 1-HRT-3-AM and 1-MR-1-AM wells, which now provide for the commitment of two new exploratory wells and 360 km of firm 2D seismic by September 2024.
If you choose to do contingent work in the region, the Russian company will have until 2026 to survey another 194 km of 2D seismic data and drill two more oil wells, in addition to carrying out a formation test until December 2026.
