Proposed wind farm in Conwy, bordering Denbighshire, could generate up to 60MW, with battery storage and community benefits.
Public consultation on RWE's Alwen Forest Wind Farm is now underway, offering local people the opportunity to have their say on the project. With up to nine wind turbines up to 200 meters high, the park will have the capacity to generate 60 MW. Additionally, the project includes plans to battery storage and a habitat management plan, as well as grid linkage work between Alwen and Clocaenog. RWE is seeking public feedback to ensure the project meets local needs and minimizes environmental impact.
