SENAI and SESI in partnership with CNI provides professional education to 800 Bolsa Família young people aged between 18 and 29 over the next four years
SENAI and SESI will train subscribers of the Cadastro Único and Bolsa Família. The program that plans to train 800 young people from the Bolsa Família and the Cadastro Único was signed on Wednesday, December 11, in Brasília, during the CNI’s tribute to the President of the Republic, Jair Bolsonaro, with the Order of Industrial Merit. R$ 2,3 billion will be invested with the aim of training these 800 Bolsa Família youth over the next three years, said the Ministry of Citizenship and the National Confederation of Industry (CNI).

For Jair Bolsonaro, education is essential for the growth of the country. “Either we really change education, or our future will also be compromised. I would like to thank the work of the CNI, which helps us in training the right workforce”, highlighted the president.
In July of this year, the areas of citizenship and the Industry System were formalized, validating the technical cooperation agreement between the Minister of Citizenship, Osmar Terra, and the president of CNI, Robson de Andrade.
The Ministry of Citizenship is committed to promoting the autonomy of people registered in the Single Registry. In this sense, Minister Osmar Terra also invited businessmen to reserve space for young people assisted by this cooperation, in their companies.
“In order not to leave anyone behind, we need this partnership and we want all of you, in your companies, to set aside a minimum quota for Bolsa Família young people. We have 4,6 million young people between the ages of 18 and 29 who neither work nor study on Bolsa Família. This is a tragedy for our country”, said the minister.
The work plan foresees a professional qualification, reinforcement courses in Portuguese and mathematics and the referral of young people from Bolsa Família by the Ministry of Citizenship to the services of the S System managed by the CNI, such as the Social Service of Industry (Sesi) and the National Service of Industrial Learning (Senai).
“We have the largest private professional education complex. There are more than two million enrollments in Brazil, we have almost a thousand schools, two boats in the Amazon region doing professional qualification and almost 30 thousand employees”, said the president of the CNI.
Distribution of courses
Courses will be available in all states of Brazil, with a workload of 100 hours to reinforce Portuguese and mathematics integrated into professional qualification, with an average of 200 hours and duration of 6 months.
The program's priority is to train young people from Bolsa Família who are not enrolled in vocational education institutions or in the formal job market.
