Petrobras shares pulled the market this Tuesday, 23/11. Check data to see if it is still advantageous to invest in the oil company
The shares of Petrobras and Braskem pulled the highs of the Ibovespa this Tuesday. The increases were around 5,2% and 6,2%, respectively.
The main reasons given by specialists are: the increase in the value of a barrel of oil, which continues to rise, despite the announcement of the sale of strategic reserve by several countries. Today, the price of a barrel has already increased by more than 3% and a barrel of oil of the type Brent reached US$82,33.

How are these actions performing this year?
Despite the feeling of optimism and historic dividend payments, Petrobras shares are not in a positive balance in 2021.
At this moment, the shares of the Brazilian oil company accumulate 3.84 percent decline in the year 2021, although this prognosis, when viewed only over the last 6 months, it accumulates a high of 5.34%, which is positive for 2022.
Unlike Petrobras, those who invested in Braskem during the year 2021 had considerable gains, since in the accumulated of the year 2021, the value of the share apresulted in an increase of 114,65%, but on the other hand, in the values of the last 6 months there was a 0.95% drop in value, which could mean a slowdown in climbing.
Is it still worth investing in Petrobras shares?
This is a question that market volatility prevents from answering exactly. Even so, there is some information that can be used as positive or negative aspects in relation to this investment.
Despite not paying dividends as massive as, for example, Vale, Petrobras will still, this year, make another payment of dividends, in the total amount of R$ 31,6 billion. It is important to remember that at this moment most of Petrobras' shares belong to the government, that is, a good part of this amount will be added to the public coffers.
What is expected is that you all remain positive, even more so with the hope that the federal government be able to move forward with the Petrobras privatization process, which is finding it difficult to pass through parliament.
