In this way, the technology company will use its state-of-the-art equipment to guarantee Shell the necessary information to control the integrity of the oil company's subsea projects. Thus, Shell intends to advance in the qualification phase of a more efficient means of acquiring underwater integrity data using the robotic platforms Aquanaut and Hydronaut from Nauticus Robotics, which use state-of-the-art technology for collecting data at sea.

The collaboration will then move on to enable the creation of an offshore pilot project, before necessarily moving to monitoring Shell's subsea assets in the future.
