Shell Brasil starts selection process for engineers, resumes until June 5th

Shell Brasil Petroleum engineer pre-salt vacancies

With Shell's recent acquisitions in the Brazilian pre-salt layer, the Anglo-Dutch oil company is beginning to set aside its teams for exploration and research projects

Engineers from different backgrounds were asked by Shell Brasil to participate in the selection processes due to new and latent projects. These are positions in the E&P area with an application deadline, some positions will expire on June 5th and 6th, so make sure you are within the requested attributions. You can check it out in more detail below:

  • Reservoir engineer ⇒ Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Engineering, Physics or equivalent, M.Sc. or PhD is preferred. Minimum of 7 years of work experience as a reservoir/petroleum engineer
  • Petrophysicist ⇒ (Bachelor) in Engineering, Physics, Geophysics, Geosciences or equivalent. Master's and/or PhD is preferred. Minimum of 7 years experience in Petrophysics and related subsurface assessment work in a variety of geological settings.
  • Senior Research Engineer ⇒ Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Engineering, Physics or equivalent, M.Sc. or PhD is preferred. Minimum of 10 years solid and varied work experience as a reservoir/petroleum engineer

The universal requirements that candidates must possess are: Fluent in Portuguese and spoken and written English, proven project management skills, strong people management and communication skills, demonstrable experience managing internal and external stakeholders. Previous experience in IOR/EOR ​​techniques and/or working with laboratories will be a plus.
