Professional training: qualification is the future
Those who do not yet have experience in the sector, but wish to enter the construction industry, also have a unique opportunity in the collective effort.
The “Civil Construction Assistant” course, part of the “Emprega Já Construção Civil 2024” program, will be announced during the event.
With 25 vacancies open, this training seeks to prepare those who do not yet have experience in the area, offering the chance to learn about the main materials, tools and processes used on construction sites.
The course, with a total workload of 40 hours, will cover fundamental topics for work in the construction industry, divided into four main modules:
- Workplace safety: how to act safely on a construction site, avoiding accidents and risks.
- Materials and tools: understanding the tools used in a construction worker’s daily routine and the correct way to handle them.
- Construction processes: understanding the essential stages of construction and how each phase develops.
- Professional attitude: development of behavioral skills so that professionals stand out in the competitive construction market.
According to Sinduscon BC, the training offered in the course can open doors for candidates who wish to stand out and secure a more solid position in the sector, in addition to being an opportunity for construction companies to develop talents that can meet the demand for qualified labor.
Civil construction in 2024: challenges and opportunities
The construction sector in Brazil is experiencing a moment of transformation. The lack of qualified professionals, combined with the high demand for new projects, puts pressure on both employers and workers.
According to recent data, the search for solutions, such as training courses and partnerships between the public and private sectors, is becoming increasingly common, and events such as the Balneário Camboriú community effort are a key part of dealing with these challenges.
Finally, with 140 vacancies open and the offer of courses that qualify new professionals, the campaign is an opportunity not only for those seeking employment, but also for the sector as a whole, which needs to find solutions to fill the labor shortage and continue building the future.
